The company, in fact, will make available to the local population and the authorities various tools to face the war and all related emergencies. Here is what the CEO revealed in these hours:
Amazon takes the field to support Ukraine
With some posts on social networks, Andy Jassy, CEO of Amazon, confirmed his commitment and that of his entire company to support Ukraine. The manager has already confirmed that donations have been made, both directly from the company and from the various employees. Meanwhile, Amazon Fulfillment is making an active effort to deliver the necessary supplies to the population, despite the difficulties related to the war.
There is also cybersecurity support
The issue of cybersecurity is at the forefront of the war between Russia and Ukraine. Amazon intends to actively intervene on the issue. The company, in fact, has confirmed that it is ready to offer support in terms of cybersecurity to all of society and governments. In the coming days we will understand how Amazon’s support will allow Ukraine to face the threats related to the Russian invasion.
Meanwhile, Amazon posted a post on its blog in which he describes the first interventions and donations already made in support of Ukraine. The company will certainly implement further initiatives over the next few weeks to support, in particular, the populations affected by the conflict.
