The foldable Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are the second and third Samsung devices to receive the One UI 4 update based on Android 12.
Android 12 lands on Samsung folders
Good news for owners of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip. The Korean brand is progressively leading Android 12 on its folding smartphones. A maneuver that has already begun in some regions of the world and which should expand like wildfire in the coming days. To report it is androidauthority, which confirms that a first version of One UI4 has already landed on the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in South Korea and on the Galaxy Z Flip 3 in Serbia. According to the brand’s plans, the update should reach most users in the United States by the end of the month.
The news comes after the satisfactory beta testing phase conducted last month. Ultimately One UI 4 offers several optimizations to foldable devices, including support for Android 12 color palettes, new widgets, and numerous other additional features.
