United Colors of Benetton makes its debut in the world of online gaming, landing on Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The brand presents a virtual collection designed specifically for fans of the well-known and beloved Nintendo videogame. In fact, through the dream code DA-7006-9979-4281, it will be possible to discover the Benetton Island. This is a colorful world where Green Islander will reserve a warm welcome to its visitors.
The Benetton Island was created in collaboration with Azalona, gamer and graphic designer. To design the architecture of the island, the Milanese content creator drew inspiration from the key values that have animated the fashion brand for years: color, the knitwear and the sustainability.
Visitors to the new Benetton Island will then be able to set out to discover the lively thematic areas. They range from the Rugby pitch to the Photo Booth, from Green’s home to the color block areas. It will also be possible to parade in the multicolor showroom with United Colors of Benetton garments. Rounding out the island’s design will be the iconic bramd patterns. All with elements that draw attention to tema green and sustainability like wind turbines and solar panels.
In accordance with the philosophy of Benetton Group, the Italian programmer has voluntarily chosen not to activate Terraforming. Through this function, in fact, the players of Animal Crossing: New Horizons can usually act to change the geological aspect of the islands at their discretion. With the desire to transfer the culture of the brand also in game, visitors will be able to discover the spaces and areas of Benetton Island, created respecting the natural conformation of the island.
One of the favorite activities of Animal Crossing gamers is choosing clothes for their character. Precisely for this reason Benetton and Azalona have created a digital collection of 10 outfits made with some of the brand’s iconic garments. These will also be physically available in a special section of the brand’s e-shop.
