For all strategy lovers, Anno 1404 History Edition is redeemable for free from today on the Ubisoft Store
Are you short of strategy games to play? You are in luck because Ubisoft has decided that Anno 1404 History Edition is redeemable for free for a limited time. The popular city-building game, which normally costs € 14.99 on the Ubisoft store, is available for free until 14 December at 2.00 pm. Ubisoft released the Anno 1404 History Collection in June 2020. It includes four series chapters (1602, 1503, 1701 and 1404) and their expansions, updated for modern PCs with resolutions up to 4K.
Anno 1404 History Edition free for a few days!
While not a fan of strategy games, it’s a shame not to redeem a title like Anno 1404 History Edition for free, considering it has four games in one. If you are not a fan of single-player games and would like to experience Anno in multiplayer, Ubisoft has the solution for you:
The Venice expansion for Anno 1404 adds cooperative and competitive multiplayer, new espionage and city council features, as well as new ships, missions and items with which to expand your empire.
The game is given away to celebrate the Ubisoft’s 35th anniversary, which last month saw the publisher offer PC gamers free copy Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Trilogy and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. Additionally, it has been stated that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be free to play earlier this week from 16 to 19 December. It seems that Ubisoft wants to make the Assassin’s Creed saga known to more players, giving away past titles of the saga but also bringing the main chapters to Nintendo Switch.
