Today, Apple has started releasing macOS 12.2 beta 2 to developers. The new build (21D5039d) arrives about a month after the official release of the beta 1 and the stable update to macOS Monterey 12.1. With the new beta, Apple has improved support for MacBook Pro 14 and 16 inch displays with the Safari browser with notable steps forward for scrolling with ProMotion. This is an important step forward in improving and optimizing the navigation performance of the new MacBook Pros.

Here comes the new Apple Music application

Also noteworthy is the introduction of a new native Apple Music app which will improve the song search (now much faster) and the result pages will be displayed with a native page. Scrolling with the new app will also be improved. The application is however still a beta and will receive further updates in the future.
