We return to talk about Assassin’s Creed: according to various rumors, Ubisoft has 11 themed games in the works. Here are all the details
Even if we were to rely only on the games of which Ubisoft has officially spoken, it is clear that the French giant has big plans in store for the saga of Assassin’s Creed, with a number of new installments of its flagship franchise confirmed to be in the works. However, in addition to the titles the company has confirmed are in the pipeline, it appears that just as many unannounced games are also in the works. This is according to a new report published by Tom Henderson by Insider Gaming. Let’s see all the details about it in the next few lines of this article.
Assassin’s Creed: Ubisoft is preparing many new games for the community, at least according to Tom Henderson
In a previous report, Henderson briefly described some of these titles by Assassin’s Creed unannounced, and has now reiterated those reports while adding new details. Most prominent among these is presumably a remake di Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, which was recently in the spotlight thanks to a leak. According to Henderson, the remake in question “has just been licensed.” Additionally, Ubisoft Sofia (Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation, Assassin’s Creed Rogue) is reportedly working on a single-player title codenamed Project Nebulacurrently in the planning stage and featuring three settings: India, the Aztec Empire and the Mediterranean.
There is then Project Raida free-to-play 4-player co-op game developed by Ubisoft Chengdu, which will presumably feature characters from across the Assassin’s Creed series, and Project Echoes, a titolo multiplayer di Ubisoft Annecy which will make use of Ubisoft’s Scalar technology. Henderson also claims that internally there is also discussion of a sequel di Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR. In addition to these, Ubisoft currently has six confirmed Assassin’s Creed games in development: Assassin’s Creed Miragewhich is due out this year; Assassin’s Creed Project REDwhich, according to Henderson’s report, aims for a 2024 launch; Assassin’s Creed Codename HEXE, which is said to be in pre-production and scheduled for launch in 2025/26; The mobile game Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade; the aforementioned virtual reality title Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR and multiplayer gaming Assassin’s Creed Codename Invictus.
