ASUS announced the roadmap for the release of theupdate to Android 12 for some of its smartphones. The new version of Android is coming for the gamma ROG Phone as well as for the series ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 7. Timing varies by model but updates will be completed by the first half of 2022.

ASUS plans to update the series to Android 12 ZenFone 8 starting from December 2022.
