ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the availability in Italy of ROG Strix XG43UQ, the first gaming monitor in the world with an HDMI 2.1 port. ROG Strix XG43UQ is equipped with a 43-inch 4K panel with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and a motion image response time (MPRT) of 1ms. It also boasts technology Display Stream Compression (DSC). The HDMI 2.1 port allows gamers to enjoy 4K 120Hz gameplay even on the latest generation consoles. AMD technology FreeSync Premium Pro guarantees smooth and low latency HDR images, while simultaneously operating theASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync (ELMB Sync) which activates the variable refresh rate to eliminate asymmetries and visual artifacts in order to return a fluid and responsive gaming experience. ROG Strix XG43UQ has a maximum brightness of 1000 nit, more than three times that of OLED TVs. The monitor sports a two-tone black and white finish, with its all-white back shell, and relies on Aura Sync lighting to show synchronized lighting effects with other Aura-enabled components and peripherals.
