ASUSTOR announces the 10GbE AS-T10G2 network card. Based on the AQC-107 controller, it will allow greater performance and lower consumption
ASUSTOR, one of the most important and innovative NAS manufacturers founded in 2011 with a direct investment of ASUSTek Computer, which we have also been able to tell you about the quality of their products during our tests, announces the availability of AS-T10G2 10 GbE network card.
ASUSTOR announces the 10GbE AS-T10G2 network card
Is called ASUSTOR 10 GbE AS-T10G2, and is compatible with the vast majority of devices with PCI Express slots, this compact card is the ideal choice for bringing 10GbE connectivity to ASUSTOR PCs and NAS equipped with ADM 3.5.6 and later operating systems.
Based on the controller AQC-107, which allows to offer better performance and significant energy savings compared to previous generation cards, the new AS-T10G2 is able to register transfer rate up to 1127 MB / s read and 1124 MB / s write (data refers to the ASUSTOR Lockerstor 16R Pro NAS), while allowing a reduction of the CPU workload, thanks to the support of the offload functionality checksum of IP, TCP and UDP addresses.
Furthermore, it is PCI Express 3.0 compliant, equipped with a porta Ethernet RJ-45 8p8c 10 Gbps and can support auto switching at 100 Mbps, 1 Gbps, 2.5 Gbps or 5 Gbps, the new AS-T10G2Thanks to its small size, it can also be mounted on the most compact PCs and on those capable of accepting only low profile cards, as well as on ASUSTOR NAS with PCI Express slots and ADM 3.5.6 and later operating systems.
Let’s see the main technical characteristics and the supports in terms of protocols;
