New updates arrive on the highly anticipated Marvel crossover: the creator of the Loki TV series and screenwriter of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Michael Waldron will write Avengers Kang Dynasty
After the recent departure of director Destin Daniel Cretton, good news finally arrives for the fifth Avengers crossover film. In fact, it seems that Marvel has hired Michael Waldron to write Avengers Kang Dynasty. This is more than excellent news, in fact Waldron is known for having created the TV series dedicated to the God of Deception Loki and for writing the screenplay for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Considering the success of these two, especially the Loki series, Marvel gives hope that the next two Avengers films (Waldron will also write the screenplay Secret Wars) meet fans’ expectations and will give us an exciting and unforgettable story, at least on par with Endgame. Waldron also wrote Rick e Morty and created the wrestling TV series Heels con Stephen Amell.
What to expect from Michael Waldron for Avengers Kang Dynasty
As we already mentioned, previous director Destin Daniel Cretton left the project. It is rumored that he will be there instead Sam Raimi, who previously worked with Waldron on the second Doctor Strange film. Raimi is competing with Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, the couple he worked on Moon Knight, Loki Season 2, and Daredevil: Born Again. The next two phases will focus on the villain Kang the Conqueror, until arriving at the fateful Avengers Kang Dynasty, where there will be a showdown between the heroes and the villain of the new saga. Marvel has invested a lot in the character and the director of Loki, Dan Deleeuw, has said that we have not yet seen the definitive Kang.

The future regarding his involvement is uncertain, we don’t know whether he will return or not, but if he doesn’t return we believe there will simply be a recasting of the character.
According to the latest rumors, the films that will lay the foundations for the next two Avengers films will be Fantastic Four, Shang-Chi 2, Spider-Man 4 and Deadpool 3.
