Larian Studios presented a new trailer for Baldur’s Gate 3 also announcing the release date of the game on PS5 and PC
At Sony’s State of Play event, Larian Studios announced with a new trailers on gameplay that the release date of the versions PS5, PC e Mac from Baldur’s Gate 3 is fixed at August 31, 2023.
The latest game trailer gave players an exclusive sneak peek at one of the yet-to-be-unseen next-generation RPG antagonists: the General Ketheric Thorm. Ketheric is a seemingly invincible necromancer who commands an army of the dead across the eponymous city of Baldur’s Gate and voiced by none other than the famed character actor J.K. Simmons. Baldur’s Gate 3: officially confirmed the release date of the PS5 and PC versions
Well yes, Larian has confirmed that the Baldur’s Gate 3 release date for PS5, PC and Mac matches the August 31, 2023. The new trailer The game also includes several gameplay reveals:
- Split-screen co-op mode: two players on one PS5 using split-screen co-op or online for up to four players!
- Controller support: During Early Access on Steam, Baldur’s Gate 3 only supported mouse and keyboard, but the new trailer reveals what to expect with full controller support at launch.
Finally, more details emerge from the PlayStation blog post regarding the offers of the Deluxe Edition and of Collector’s Edition of Baldur’s Gate 3, both available to pre-order for PS5 via PlayStation Store. All Early Access players on PC (and anyone who purchases the game between now and release) are automatically upgraded to the Deluxe Edition.
