Bandai Namco has announced three new titles coming to Nintendo Switch: Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series, SD GUNDAM BATTLE ALLIANCE e Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival. These three video games will arrive on Nintendo Switch and confirm the publisher’s interest in the Nintendo hybrid: let’s take a look at what awaits us on the console of the big N in the coming months.
Bandai Namco: three new games arrive on the Switch
Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series
Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the franchise, Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series will include Klonoa: Door to Phantomile e Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil. The graphics of the two titles have been completely renewed offering 60 fps and a maximum resolution of 4K, while the beloved world and the famous gaming experience of Klonoa have been faithfully preserved to win over both new players and fans of the original title.
Initially launched in 1997 by Namco, Klonoa is a side scrolling platform game that includes a variety of vibrant characters in a truly colorful and engaging game world. As Klonoa, the player will have to embark on a mission to save Phantomile.
The remastered version will add an additional level of difficulty and a two-player cooperative option, which will allow new users to immerse themselves directly in the game action and longtime fans to get used to it with ease.
Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series will be available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and Steam.
SD GUNDAM BATTLE ALLIANCE
Explore the Gundam universe like never before with elegant graphics, dynamic battle animations and stunning effects as you engage in challenging co-op battles of SD GUNDAM BATTLE ALLIANCE. This action RPG takes players to another world through a strange phenomenon known as “Breaks”, where they can immerse themselves in a series of stories taken from the original Gundam works as they try to get back to normal.
Da “Mobile Suit Gundam” a “Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans”, SD GUNDAM BATTLE ALLIANCE encourages players to lead a three-unit squadron to participate in exciting cooperative battles with a multitude of characters and extended mechanics.
Players will be able to experience the single player story or take advantage of the unique strengths of Mobile Suits to get the better of their friends. SD GUNDAM BATTLE ALLIANCE will see players battle Super Deformed (SD) versions of the Mobile Suits from the Gundam series with thrilling animations in an epic new RPG.
SD GUNDAM BATTLE ALLIANCE will be available in 2022 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam and Windows.
Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival
Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival invite players to test their drum skills and ignite their rhythmic spirit! In Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festivalthey will be able to play together in some beautiful levels in perfect sync and rhythm from a vast library of over 76 blazing tracks, ranging from the most successful to the most popular songs.
Furthermore, Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival includes two new game modes. In the DON-chan Band mode, it will be possible to play together by attending a live concert for 4 players, while in the Great Drum Toy War mode, you will be able to face a head-to-head challenge to decide who will be the supreme master of the drums!
Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival will be available in 2022 exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
