Alejandro González Iñárritu has finished shooting his next film in Mexico, which will be titled Bardo (Or False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths)
There has been a lot of silence about Alejandro González Iñárritu’s new film, which started shooting last year, but little has been known in the meantime. To date, they are finally over and you can even find out what title it is Bardo (Or False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths).
Unfortunately, little is still known, but we know that it is a nostalgic comedy that was shot entirely in Mexico. After Amores Perros, this is the first film that the director makes in his country. Another distinction with his previous works is the fact that it is an independent production, scripted together with Nicolás Giacobone.

At the center of the story is a well-known Mexican journalist, documentary director who returns to Mexico at a particular moment in his life and asks questions about himself, his identity, his relationships with his family, his past and his his present. The protagonists are the Mexican actor Giménez Cacho and Griselda Siciliani.
After five Academy Awards, Alejandro G. Iñárritu amazes again with an independent production, very different from the maxi productions in which he was recognized, such as Birdman and Revenant – Redivivo.
