Christmas is coming and even Battlefield 2042 is preparing for the holidays, at least according to some recent leaks that want to see some themed skins arrive
The recent arrival on all platforms of Battlefield 2042 has shaken a videogame market that expected, from the new iteration of the DICE franchise, decisive steps forward and a title that would be able to unite fans, not divide them. From our first lukewarm initial impressions, which resulted in a wonderful preview, we then continued our adventure in view of the review, which confirmed what was said before: Battlefield 2042 is not enough. It’s definitely not what we expected, a bit like Call of Duty Vanguard, and this year, therefore, the two kings of competitive FPS have been underwhelming on several fronts.
This obviously does not mean that Battlefield 2042 has been abandoned by DICE, quite the contrary. The server problems should be fixed with a patch and the third major update went live today, bringing fixes and new content of various kinds. Some users, however, claimed to have been able to peek at the rewards for missions coming in the next month, posted by mistake, before they were promptly removed. In particular, the Battlefield Bullettin Twitter account has released some images, which we leave you below.

Santa Claus skins, tanks and helicopters: welcome to the Christmas spirit of Battlefield 2042
One of the future rewards is one Santa Claus skin called Father Winter (Papa Winter, or something like that), one camo for the helicopters called Little Blitzen and a camo for the tank called Big Nic. Items can be unlocked as mission rewards throughout the various weeks of the Battlefield 2042 preseason, which started very recently. For example, the tank skin appears to unlock during week 2, while Santa’s skin appears to unlock during week 3.
The skin of Santa Claus arrives on board a sleigh also in Battlefield 2042 therefore, or at least it seems according to these leaks.
