be quiet!, the German manufacturer of premium PC components, launches its new series Light Wings, the first fans of be quiet! with ARGB lighting. In addition to its characteristic lighting properties, development focused on performance, low noise operation and the manufacturer’s typical high quality standards. Light Wings fans are equipped with a connettore PWM and have a LED ring at the inlet of the fan and another narrow LED ring at the outlet. They are available in 120mm and 140mm sizes. Light Wing’s light rings are equipped with a maximum of 20 individually addressable LEDs with a diffuser to diffuse the light in both directions. This results in extraordinarily uniform illumination and indeed impressive lighting effects. They are sold both individually and in triple packs. The latter also contain a hub ARGB to allow synchronization of a maximum of six ARGB components in total. Fans can also be connected to motherboards with 5V ARGB connectors and check it from the motherboard software.
The Light Wings are available in two different versions. The PWM model, equipped with seven fan blades and a speed of rotation up to 1,700 rpm (120 mm) o 1,500 entries/min (140 mm) is ideal as a case fan due to its low noise level. The high-speed PWM model with nine fan blades e as far as 2.500 giri/min (120 mm) o 2,200 inputs/min (140mm) is optimized for use on radiators or heat sinks.
The thick chassis and adapted fan result in Shorter fan blades with optimized angles for a balance between volume and performance for both models. The design ensures a durable and trouble-free operation with a long duration up to 60,000 hours of operation. All Light Wings fans have a PWM connector capable of intelligently control the rotation speed directly via the motherboard.
