After the announcement of Beetlejuice 2, we can finally show you the first images of Jenna Ortega and Winona Ryder on set. Let’s see them together
After a first chapter left in the history of 80s cinema, 35 years later, here it is Beetlejuice is preparing to return with a new, intriguing, second chapter. Despite an initial uncertainty, we can tell you that too Winona Ryder will return to join the cast, alongside the previously announced return of Michael Keaton and other new entries, including Jenna Ortega, Justin Therou, Monica Bellucci e Willem Dafoe. Finally the first photos from the set are starting to appear, let’s take a look.

Shooting for the film has already started in London, about two months ago. Unfortunately, however, we still don’t know much about the plot, except that the character that Jenna Ortega will play will be the daughter of Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder). The only clues we can draw, to understand what the story will focus on, are the two photos recently published, which portray Ryder and Ortega at work. It is precisely from these images that an important detail emerges. What is Jenna doing in her wedding dress? This is a detail that has not yet been revealed, but which suggests that a wedding could be a central element for the plot of the second chapter. Will Beetlejuice 2 revolve around this? Unfortunately it is still too early to tell. However, we can anticipate that, in all likelihood, Monica Bellucci will lend her face to the wife of the irreverent Betelgeuse.
The sequel will once again be directed by Tim Burtonwhile the screenplay will be the work of Alfred Gough e Miles Millar, already highly appreciated by the general public for Wednesday. In addition to Burton himself, to be among the producers of the project, there will be Tommy Harper, Marc Toberoff, David Geffen and no less than Brad Pitt. Who knows how audiences will react to Michael Keaton’s return as the piggy imp.
