Bing Chat with GPT-4 available to everyone, with several new features

This open preview comes after almost two months that Microsoft tried to remove the waitlist for its new Bing Chat feature. The chatbot was launched in private preview in February and Microsoft has been rolling it out ever since.

Microsoft is now bringing smarter features to Bing Chat, like image and video results, new Bing features and Edge Actionspersistent chat and history e support for plugins. Plugin support will be key to developers and the future of Bing Chat.

Microsoft is collaborating with OpenTable to enable your plug-in to complete restaurant reservations in Bing Chat and WolframAlpha for creating views. Implementing this type of plug-in makes Bing Chat potentially much more useful than it already is, enabling features for every need.

Microsoft will be sharing much more at its conference Build at the end of this month, where we should take a closer look how developers will really extend this chatbot like OpenAI did with ChatGPT in March.
