BioShock Isolation: a leak reveals the setting, open world and much more

During the past few hours, various leaks have emerged regarding the new chapter of BioShock, which appears to be currently in development. The product should be called BioShock Isolation and it should be made in Unreal Engine 5, while as regards the official announcement, the leak indicates the first quarter of 2022. Let’s take a more detailed look at everything we know about the alleged project.

BioShock Isolation: ecco i leak

It was the account that revealed the information Twitter from Oops Leaks, which in addition to what was reported at the beginning, also showed an alleged official logo. But it doesn’t end there, as the insider went into even more detail in this hypothetical fourth installment of BioShock.

According to what we read in the Tweet, Isolation would take place in one totally new city, even if no less dystopian than the previous ones, where they live two distinct civilizations, one on the surface and the other in the depths of the soil. Both of these peoples should therefore have very different cultures and habits from each other, and it is realistic to imagine that during the game we will be able to side with one or the other depending on our choices.

An element in discontinuity with what the series has been so far is represented by the fact that Bioshock Isolation should be a video game open world, in which it will be possible to follow a linear main story or opt to carry out the secondary missions, described by the leak as “captivating”. This game world in any case will change according to our decisions and there will be a faction system.

Of course we advise you to take this leak with a grain of salt, since it is at best stolen information, but it must be said that, if it turns out to be true, then this BioShock Isolation could be a truly ambitious project capable of reporting one of the most interesting sagas of a few generations ago in vogue.
