Last year, around this time, the news was leaked that EA was working on a game themed single player open world Black Panther, and now the news has been officially confirmed. Electronic Arts has in fact announced that a single-player, third-person action-adventure title, focused on the narrative of Black Panther. The title is under construction at Cliffhanger Gamesa recently established studio in Seattle led by Kevin Stephensformer studio head of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War, developer of Monolith Productions. The new software house’s staff also includes industry veterans who have worked on other major franchises such as Halo, God of War, Call of Duty and more. Cliffhanger Games is looking to recruit for several open positions and says it will expand its team “over the next few years.” Black Panther isn’t the only Marvel title currently in development at EA.
