Through a press release, NCSoft presented the new free update of Blade & Soul, MMORPG dated by now 2012, called Revival: let’s find out all the details together
Among the best free-to-play MMORPGs of the moment, if you really want to avoid the paid ones like the now excellent and essential Final Fantasy XIV, we find Blade & Soul. NCSoft’s title actually dates back to 2012 and has enjoyed some success since then, managing to create a quite large and active fanbase and remaining one of the best exponents of the genre, at least on PC, for all these years. Through a press release, the developers have unveiled the release date of the next, gigantic, free update that will bring not only a new class to the game, but also an upgrade of the graphics engine to Unreal Engine 4.
With Revival, this is the name of the update, the NCSoft game will be improved in every aspect, both graphics and optimization, obviously without any impact on the progress of the players. As stated in the press release, the update will be available starting from September 8th, but to anticipate its release NCSoft has created purchasable packages, called Revival Packs, with which you can get different degrees of rewards. There are three in total, Apprentice, Master and Grandmaster, and in addition to the Bonus items you can subscribe, by purchasing them, a Premium subscription of varying lengths to 7, 30 and 90 days respectively. Blade & Soul: Revival also adds a new class, the Dual Blade!
Finally, a new playable class will be added with Revival. This is the fearsome Dual Blade, fighter with (incredibly) two blades, very fast and deadly. “The best defense is a good offense” or as they say, in short, the Dual Blade embodies the saying perfectly. Agile movements, unstoppable attacks, smooth combos: the concept behind it is that of speed.
