The first photos arrive from the set of the second season of Bridgerton, the hit Netflix series, based on the novels by Julia Quinn
After the huge success of the first season, fans are looking forward to the second; Bridgerton, the Netflix costume series produced by Shonda Rhimes will return, in fact, with new episodes.
It immediately turned out to be the most viewed series ever on Netflix (with 82 million accounts that saw it in the first 4 weeks), immediately confirming itself as an exceptional product. Thus, last January 21 Netflix made official a news already certain to all: the costumed tv series will return with a second season.

Bridgerton: curiosity about the second season
The new photos, which mark the start of filming, come after the announcement of farewell to the Duke of Hastings by Regé Jean-Page in the second season of the hit Netflix series. This, in fact, will focus on Anthony Bridgerton played by Jonathan Bailey and on his new love interest Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley).
Ashley joined the cast of Bridgerton in mid-February and her character Kate, newly arrived in London, is described as a “smart, headstrong young woman who doesn’t suffer from stupid people, including Anthony Bridgerton”.
Between old and new cast members, we are sure that this second season will also delight us with the same love intrigues as the first; catapulting us into past atmospheres, between dances and debuts in society … indelibly marked by a sarcastic streak of scandal.
Plus, given the success of the series, Netflix wasted no time. Less than four months after the confirmation of a second season, the streaming video service renewed Bridgerton for two more seasons, the third and fourth.
Bridgerton made us fall in love. The creative team, led by Shonda Rhimes, knew the material and produced a beautiful, emotional and romantic drama. They have exciting plans for the future and we think audiences will continue to enjoy this show. We are planning to work on Bridgerton for much more time to come.
