From February 14 teaser and teaser art for the second season of Bridgerton
Finally, on February 14 (which coincidentally is also Valentine’s Day, the party of lovers) Netflix announced the teaser and the teaser art of the highly anticipated, second season of Bridgerton. The series will in fact be available in all countries where the service is active starting from Friday 25 March 2022.
What do we know
It has long been known that the series will keep the same line as Julia Quinn’s novels, therefore this next season will tell the romantic story of Sir Anthony Bridgerton in search of love. Anthony seeks out a girl who will also need to be a suitable bride to keep the family name high, even though no girl appears to meet her extremely high standards of hers.
Bridgerton comes to Netflix directly from Shondaland and is produced by Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers and Chris Van Dusen. The latter is also the creator and showrunner of the series.
The Teaser and the teaser art
In the teaser (which you can see here) you can hear the voice of Lady Whistledown (in English it is Julie Andrewswhile in the version dubbed in Italian it has the voice of Melina Martello) which he says to be ready to come back sharper than everwhile both familiar faces since last season and new faces that we do not yet know continue to alternate.
In fact, we know that the new arrivals will also include: Simone Ashley who will play Kate Sharma and Charithra Chandran in the role of the younger sister Edwina.
The teaser ends with featured on Penelope pronouncing the last words in chorus with Lady Whistledown’s “official” voice. But she must be careful in the keep moving for high society keeping its secret hidden deeper from the people who are closest to her.
