For the third consecutive year, Bridgestone EMEA has achieved the prestigious Platinum recognition in the annual sustainability analysis conducted by EcoVadis
This places the company in the top 1% of a total of 130,000 companies evaluated by EcoVadis in 220 sectors different industrialists. Started in 2015 with a Silver recognition, Bridgestone it progressively advanced in the rankings, reaching Gold in 2019 and, finally, Platinum in 2021.

Motivated by its commitment to sustainability and driven by the Bridgestone E8 Commitment, thecompany has made notable progress towards the 2050 goal. In 2023, the EcoVadis Platinum rating coincided with a series of successes, including the installation of 21,000 solar panels at the Burgos plant in Spain, which now sources 10-14% of the plant's energy consumption directly from the sun.
Furthermore, Bridgestone continued to promote sustainability throughout its supply chain, offering financing to suppliers based on their EcoVadis score. This initiative led to the 20% improvement scores and the achievement of the advanced level by 36% of the suppliers involved.
Another significant milestone is the publication of the first report on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) by Bridgestone EMEAillustrating the company's ambitions and actions for a more inclusive and sustainable future.
In the end, numerous projects as part of the Bridgestone Global Road Safety Program they have helped make roads safer, with tire checks, road safety training courses and educational programs involving over 20,000 people in EMEA.
