Bridgestone EMIA continues its path on the road to sustainability: for the second consecutive year it gets the platinum seal in the evaluation of EcoVadis. This means that the company results in top 1% of the over 100,000 companies considered in over 200 sectors worldwide.
Bridgestone EMIA receives EcoVadis Platinum award for sustainability
EcoVadis is one of the leading providers of corporate sustainability assessments in the world. With a team of experts, score from one to one hundred in four key areas: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, e Sustainable Procurement.
Bridgestone EMIA ranked in 12% in 2015, rising to 4% in 2018. In 2021 and now 2022, it has achieved the top 1%a very important result.
In the Labor and Human Rights area, the company has carried out due diligence on the entire supply chain, to ensure exceed social expectations. The same goes for attention to environmental sustainability and the communities in which it operates. Both of these areas are better in scoring this year.
Bridgestone’s commitment to sustainability is also reflected in the Bridgestone E8 Commitment, a set of eight areas (Energy, Ecology, Efficiency, Extension, Economy, Emotion, Ease, Empowerment) in which the company leads sustainable development.
