Among the many releases of March 2023 on the subject of TV series on on-demand streaming subscription services, the second season of a much loved series is also arriving and which has created a rather large community around it. After the success of the first season, the cantonal police officer Rosa Wilder returns to Serially to solve new and heinous murder cases. The second season of Buried Truth will be available from Thursday 16 March on the platform, the first completely free Italian TV series streaming.
After numerous requests from its community, eager to be able to follow new investigations by Rosa Wilder, Serially has decided to listen to its users, adding the second season of the crime TV series set in Switzerland to the platform’s catalogue. A new mysterious case for Rosa Wilder, three years after the events told in the first season. This time in Thallingen, in the Bernese Jura, three young boys are found murdered in the middle of a forest, on the same evening in which the company party of the largest factory in the area takes place, in which all the citizens have taken part. Simon, nephew of Rosa’s right shoulder, Manfred Kägi, is identified as the main suspect, but the story lacks clues and certainties. The local police suspect the involvement of drug trafficking, but one of the policemen seems to want to sidetrack the investigation. Following the case is agent Wilder, immediately intercepted by Manfred, temporarily suspended by the Federal Police, to ask her to follow up the investigation.
In addition to the main character Sarah Spale (Night Train to Lisbon, Platzspitzbaby), we find ourselves in the cast Marcus Signer (Mary & Johnny, Der Goalie bin ig) e Andreas Matti (Mario, Stolen Lives), but also new characters such as those played by Caspar Kaser (The care of well-being, Tatort) e Manuela Biedermann (Sarah plays a werewolf, Medicus).
