Call of Duty Vanguard was released on November 5 and the first season of multiplayer is coming soon. The brand Call of Duty after the turbulent exit of Infinite Warfare has gone through one of the most complex periods. The successor to the aforementioned title is set in World War II and came out accompanied by the promise to bring gameplay back to the highest levels. However, the reception of the fans was once again little more than lukewarm.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 offered a much-needed breath of fresh air to the franchise. The title featured a blend of semi-realistic tactical shooter experience without altering the arcade shooter feel the series is renowned for. Activision has a 3-studio development cycle in place for the series. Infinite Warfare was followed by Treyarch and yes Sledgehammer Games. Black Ops Cold War was the project of Treyarch and this year’s Vanguard is the responsibility of Sledgahmmer.

Call of Duty 2022 will be developed by Infinity Ward. Tom Henderson, a longtime leaker of the FPS series in question, believes this game will most likely be supported on last-gen consoles as well. PS4 e Xbox One.

The Call of Duty 2019 finale featured Captain Price and the iconic Task Force 141. Tom Henderson previously stated that COD 2022 will be called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and it looks like the title will pick up exactly where the previous iteration of Infinity Ward left off.

Previous titles in this franchise have had problems with regards to support for last-gen consoles. Black Ops 3 Treyarch, for example, did not offer the campaign for PS3 and Xbox 360. The game was created with minimal support and was completely bare. However, this recent leak suggests that this may not be the case with COD 2022. Tom Henderson has proved to be a rather reliable source in the past. However, for now it is the case to take it all with quite a few pliers reinforced.
