The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 single-player campaign receives a trailer, here’s what we discovered with the presentation video
Activision just released a new trailer for the campagna in single player of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The publisher spoke of gameplay in describing the material shown, but it is mostly a cinematic video whose cutscenes are played by the game engine. As we understand it, the single-player mode is all about Makarov and the famous (or infamous) No Russian mission. However, the focus of the new incarnation of the iconic sequence will be more on the plane hijacking. The game will be waiting for us on the shelves November 10th. We don’t have any technical details to talk about, but it will be interesting to see if this modern classic implements ray tracing.
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 campaign trailer
The issue of ray tracing in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is nebulous. Modern Warfare 2 didn’t sport the technology, while the predecessor (speaking of remaster) boasted this arrow in its metaphorical bow. As for content, the Zombies mode is confirmed. According to the description of the latter, the map dedicated to the war against the living dead will be the largest ever. A new story in this sense also awaits us, with missions, features and secrets still to be discovered. Activision also showed some new details on multiplayer. All sixteen maps of the predecessor have been reworked, and the same goes for the associated gameplay features.
