With Call of Duty Vanguard Activision aims to bring the saga back to its origins, with the setting placed in the middle of the Second World War for the first time since 2017. The game has already shown itself in a long trailer dedicated to the campaign, but we finally got to take a look at the multiplayer sector of the title with a new trailer from 30 minutes of gameplay dedicated to this aspect of Call of Duty Vanguard.
Call of Duty Vanguard: Multiplayer mode is revealed in a trailer
According to what is seen in the video, Vanguard tries to attract new players with a feature called Combat Pacing which allows users to decide how hectic the matches will be. First we have three filters, Tactical, Assualt and Blitz, which determine the number of players in a game. Tactical, for example, limits players to a maximum of 12, while in Blitz there can be up to 24 for each team.
Vanguard also introduces a new game mode called Patrol. It is essentially a new version of Domination with a slow moving capture zone on the map.
Obviously there will also be more classic modes, such as Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, the aforementioned Domination and Search and Destroy. Also returning from previous Call of Duty titles is Gunsmith, a feature that allows you to customize weapons with various accessories.
If you are interested in trying for yourself and getting a first-hand idea of the multiplayer sector of Call of Duty: Vanguard before the official release of the game, the November 5, we point out that the online beta starts at the end of this week. The beta will be available for all PlayStation users on September 16. All the others, on the other hand, will be able to take part in the skirmishes from 18 September until 20.
