In the past few hours, Sledgehammer Games has shown a new trailer for Call of Duty: Vanguard, the next title in the franchise coming in November, focusing on the story mode
After a succulent open beta, which also allowed us to draw up our first (and not too enthusiastic) impressions with a delicious preview, Call of Duty Vanguard is preparing to go through its final stages before launch. The next chapter of the franchise, developed by Sledgehammer Games, will arrive on November 5th on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S, and has already shown itself numerous times with trailers and developer interviews. Sledgehammer Games was joined in development by Treyarch, who instead took care of the Zombies mode. The latter will have a separate campaign and story from the main one, the single-player one, which has landed back in the spotlight again in the past few hours.
The developers have indeed disclosed a new trailer dedicated to story mode, in which numerous war places are shown in which we will be catapulted into Vanguard. From the Pacific to North Africa, passing from the Western to the Eastern front. The Call of Duty: Vanguard campaign will follow Arthur Kingsley, Polina Petrova, Wade Jackson and Lucas Riggs in their eternal fight against the Nazis. The world of Call of Duty: Vanguard can be called an alternate universe, in which, on the death of Hitler, Heinrich Freisinger comes to power, which obviously takes command of the Gestapo. It will therefore be the task of Task Force One, that is of our protagonists, to demolish it definitively to destroy the Nazi empire from its foundations.
