Big standing ovation for the well-known Hollywood actor Harrison Ford during the latest edition of Cannes 76. Known by all for being the interpreter of the iconic character of Indiana Jones; Ford seems to have come to the decisive farewell to the role dearest to him. The news came as a surprise during the premiere of the last film he played by, Indiana Jones and the Quadrant of Destiny; saw the last crack of the whip from the iconic character.
A moment of great emotion held on Thursday evening at the Palais, concluded with the Palme d’Or award, in honor of the long work done over the years. Delivered by the director of the Festival Thierry Fremaux himself; saw the participation of the director director James Mangoldalong with the entire cast of the franchise, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Boyd Holbrook, Ethann Isidore, Shaunette Renee Wilson e Mads Mikkelsen.

Cannes 76: the farewell of Harrison Ford says goodbye to Indiana Jones

Active between the 80s and 90s; Harrison Ford has joined some of the most successful faces of, such as George Lucas, Phillip Noyce, Ridley Scott, Steven Spielberg and Peter Weir. Oscar candidate in 1986 as best actor for Witness – The witness; his career is teeming with characters portrayed as tough, maverick heroes, such as space smuggler Ian Solo in the Star Wars saga.
Indiana Jones and the Quadrant of Destiny will be available on the big screen on June 28th.
