Canon announces the launch of the RF 10-20mm F4L IS STM, a new L-series model aimed at photo and video professionals
Canon announces the new Canon RF 10-20mm, a lens that offers unlimited possibilities enabling extremely wide shots and ensuring unrivaled image quality, in a much more compact and lighter body than the EF 11-24mm f4 L USM.
The lens draws on the capabilities of the existing wide-angle RF range to deliver the widest angle-of-view autofocus zoom yet for a full-frame camera, up to 130°. With a zoom range ranging from 20mm to an exceptional 10mm focal length, users can now achieve more than double the shooting area of a 16mm focal length.

The new IS guarantees stable images and videos across the entire frame with five stops of optical stabilization or six stops in combination with a camera with integrated stabilization on the image sensor. The advanced rectilinear design of the lens ensures sharp and accurate results: lines remain perfectly straight, even at the edges of the frame, thanks to an advanced optical formula. A constant f/4 maximum aperture delivers consistent exposures at every zoom setting while state-of-the-art coating minimizes ghosting and flare typical of ultra-wide shots.
