Canon announced the debut of four new imagePROGRAF GP series printers. This is the world’s first wide format printer range with aqueous pigment fluorescent ink. This solution is designed for very high quality printing in graphics applications. The products unveiled by Canon are aimed at different target customers and, more generally, at those who need to be able to count on solutions capable of guaranteeing high-level performance in terms of print yield.
Canon unveils the new series imagePROGRAF GP
The new series of printers made by Canon is made up of models imagePROGRAF GP-4000 (44 inch) and GP-2000 (24 inch) which use 10 colors including red, orange, green and purple ink. To complete the range we find imagePROGRAF GP-300 (36 inch) and GP-200 (24 inch) which use 5 colors plus fluorescent pink ink. These templates were created with the aim of meeting the needs of graphic manufacturers, in-house print divisions and creative agencies. Note that the new printer series has achieved certification “PANTONE-calibrated license per PANTONE PASTELS & NEONS GUIDE Coated.
