With the end of the Capcom Cup IX of Los Angeles, who saw MenaRD of the Dominican Republic defeat Zhen of China becoming the biggest Street Fighter V: Champion Edition player in the world, all eyes are now on to the next competition: Capcom Pro Tour (CPT) 2023.
The tournament will crown the first champion of Street Fighter 6, a new game releasing on June 2, 2023. Capcom also announced today that the total prize pool of the competition will be 2 million dollars. Of these, half – 1 million – will go to the winner of the Capcom Cup X.

The competitions will take place on the new Street Fighter 6, to be released on June 2nd. The new game of the franchise will introduce three new game modes called Fighting Ground, World Tour and Battle Hub. These are in addition to: Arcade Mode, online matches, Training Mode, local versus battles and much more. Players will be able to also choose the commentators, through the selection of broadcasters in real time (such as the famous Jeremy “Vicious” Lopez and Ryutaro “Aru” Noda). From this point of view, accessibility will also be improved, with ben 13 subtitle language options.
