Do you ever recover a dusty cartridge from an old box? Surely one title you are missing is the bizarre Carnivalé: Cenzo’s Adventure, until now
We are towards the late nineties and the good old Nintendo 64 still grinds a more than fair number of sales despite starting to show its side to the first Sony PlayStation home. Among the games that should have appeared on the console there was also the bizarre Carnivalé: Cenzo’s Adventure, but in the end nothing done, until today. But let’s try to understand the situation a little better!
Carnivalé: Cenzo’s Adventure: how to reappear after more than 20 years
We all know the catalog of dear old Nintendonejust think of Super Mario 64, the two iconic ones Zelda in 3Dto Banjo – Kazooie, to the first Super Smash Bros. and so on, of the titles that have made more than one jaw drop and that have bewitched the various E3 of the nineties.
Carnivalé: Cenzo’s Adventuredeveloped by Terrraglyph Interactive Studios and published by Vatical Entertainmentwas in fact presented to the public during theE3 of 1999 and it was a game based on an animated film that had a rather limited distribution in Europe. History saw them as protagonists a group of friends who entered a rather sinister amusement park only to find themselves trying to escape away before being trapped there forever. A rather linear story, but one that would have deserved at least one game anyway.
Today we have quite a special one! We’ve released Carnivalé: Cenzo’s Adventure, a cancelled Nintendo 64 title developed by Terraglyph Interactive Studios! It was based on the animated film by the same name and was first shown off to the public at E3 1999 in an unfinished state. pic.twitter.com/gF2iFKP8lu

In the end that title never saw the light of day because his firm had considerable financial problems. But it looks like the site guys Forest of the Illusiontogether with the user Baker64, have published on their portal the unfinished prototype of this dark 3D platformer. It might be interesting to take a look at it, especially if it is almost “legendary” retrogaming.
