Chocolate Fiat 500: a delicious work that becomes reality

In the Dante Giacosa Museum, an unusual Fiat 500 was made entirely of chocolate by the “Amici del Cioccolato” association

Chocolate Fiat 500? Yes, it really exists! This unique work was created by“Friends of Chocolate” association designed by the master chocolatier Nerozzi Valter. Currently, this unusual Fiat 500 is kept in the Dante Giacosa Museum in Garlenda, in the province of Savona. This delicious creation was presented at the fair “A Chocolate Village” in Borgo San Dalmazzo. The theme of the edition was “The 500 and the engines”, and the Fiat 500 Club Italia participated with a gathering of over 40 cars, despite the snow. There sculpture, measuring 1.5 x 1 metre, was originally intended for display in the premises of the Municipality of Borgo San Dalmazzo for a year. However, thanks to the proposal of the club’s trustee, Claudio Bernardi, and consultation with Councilor Fabio Armando and Mayor Roberta Robbione, the chocolate Fiat 500 was transferred to the Dante Giacosa Museum.

The Dante Giacosa Museum is a unique place in the world, with over 100 hours of video content that tell the story of history of the Fiat 500. Here you will find historical videos of the Istituto Luce and Fiat, interviews with famous people and both historical and current documentation on the legendary Turin small car. The numerous rooms of the museum offer insights that will satisfy all your curiosities about the legendary Cinquino. At the end of the visit, you can also browse the brand new 500 Shop, where you can buy gadgets, clothing, books, DVDs and models signed by the 500 Club Italia.

And if you want to visit the museum and are passionate about engines, imagine a Fiat 500 without sheet metal, bodywork or engine, but completely made of pure chocolate. Although we can’t taste it, this chocolate car is certainly a delicious and fascinating work of art!
