Chromebook: Sales still growing in the second quarter of 2021

Chromebook sales continue to grow on an international basis. According to Canalys data, in fact, during the second quarter of 2021 were shipped 11.8 million units of Chromebooks worldwide. For the sector of Chrome OS laptops there is a growth, compared to the same period last year, of the +74.7%.

Chromebooks continue to grow: record sales in Q2 2021, HP leads the market

Leading the Chromebook market for international sales we find HP. The company distributed 4.3 million units, registering a market share of 36% and a growth of + 115% compared to last year’s data. HP therefore confirms its leadership in the sector, significantly increasing its advantage over other brands.

Second position, according to Canalys data, for Lenovo which recorded 2.5 million units sold and a growth of + 81%. To complete the Top 5 we find Acer, Dell (the only brand down compared to last year) e Samsung (which records an extraordinary + 324%).

The data released by Canalys confirm the excellent results of the Chromebook range. Thanks also to the continuous investments of manufacturers, today the market offers many new options and it is even easier to find the device that best suits your needs.
