The gameplay of CONV / RGENCE: A League of Legends Story, the new game from Riot Games starring one of LoL’s most loved champions, is finally out
A new chapter in the history of League of Legends arrives on the market: it is CONV / RGENCE: A League of Legends Story, and the first gameplay has just been released. After the (not so much) recent announcement at The Game Awards of a new spin-off of the hugely popular MOBA, Ruined King: A League of Legends Story (the trailer has already been released), Riot Forge, in collaboration with Double Stallion (who developed the game) has decided to release another title belonging to this narrative strand in single player.

CONV / RGENCE: A League of Legends Story gameplay reveals that the champion the game will be based on is Echo, the manipulator of time also recently appeared in the first episodes of Arcane, the Netflix series based on the lore of League of Legends. You don’t have a lot of details about the story, you just know it will be centered around Echo and on the city of Zaun, where the champion will exploit his powers and his abilities to control the environment. In addition, the protagonist is clearly seen walk on walls e rewind time to your liking.
From the trailer, then, you can see how the typical 3D graphics of LoL have left room for one 2D and vaguely cartoonish, similar, in what we have seen, to the various Super Mario and Metroid, with platforms to skip and enemies to fight. The game will be released in an unspecified period of 2022, and will be released for PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC. We just have to wait further information, both from the Riot Games Twitter channel and from YouTube and from the company’s other social channels.
