In the past few hours, Activision Blizzard announced the release date for the Steam version of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, after a year of exclusivity for the Battle.net launcher: let’s find out all the details together
It seems like yesterday, yet it was a shock to realize that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time really came out two years ago. We were already surprised with its PlayStation 4 version, of which you can find our review by clicking here, and the “recent” arrival also on next-gen consoles has only confirmed our ideas (here you can find the review!). As for the PC market, however, currently the title developed by Toys for Bob and published by Activision Blizzard is available exclusively through the Battle.net launcher.
In the past few hours, however, the official Steam page has appeared online, complete with a release date. Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will arrive on the Valve platform starting next October 18th and you can already save it in your wishlist. There are currently no other details, such as price, although the requirements have already been disclosed. And according to the latter it is very likely that, just as it happened on Battle.net, the game will require to be always connected to the internet to be played.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time lands on Steam on October 18th!
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time was originally released, as we said, in October 2020 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Despite not being developed by the original team, the guys from Naughty Dog (The Last of Us, Jak and Dexter, Uncharted), It’s About Time has kept the bar so high that it can actually be considered the official sequel to the original trilogy.
Currently, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Nintendo Switch, on PC you can find it starting from October 18 also through Steam, as well as Battle.net.
