Today I’ll try you (Genshin Impact), the new song by Cristina D’Avena, undisputed queen of cartoon songs. The song, as the title suggests, is a true love letter to HoYoverse’s popular open-world Adventure RPG.
In addition to singing, Cristina D’Avena is also the author of the song, on which she worked together with the composer Cristiano Macri. Here are the singer’s words:
“I am really delighted to be an integral part of this long-awaited activity. When they offered it to me, I immediately said yes. Looking at the images of Genshin Impact I noticed the many similarities with the many beautiful cartoons of which I have interpreted the theme songs throughout my career. With the composer Cristiano Macrì we decided to create an epic and exciting song that could best reflect the themes of the game: exciting and never predictable. I hope the public likes it, and that it convinces everyone to venture into the fantastic world of Genshin Impact to discover for themselves the beauty of this game, perhaps, why not, listening to my new song in the background.”

Genshin Impact is a free-to-play action role-playing video game set in a fantasy world called Teyvat. The player can explore the open world, battle enemies, complete quests and interact with the non-player characters. The game also features a gacha system that allows you to get new characters and weapons by spending virtual or real currency.
