David Beckham, former international football star, has announced that he has temporarily transferred his Instagram account to a Ukrainian doctor with the aim of raising public awareness about the tragedy of the war in Ukraine. Here are all the details related to this new initiative launched by Beckham.
David Beckham sells his Instagram account to a Ukrainian doctor
The doctor in question is called Iryna and is currently working in Kharkiv, in the eastern part of Ukraine. Over the next few days, Iryna will be sharing photos, videos and stories via David Beckham’s Instagram account. The initiative launched by Beckham himself aims to reach the over 70 million account followers who will have direct access to the contents shared by the doctor currently in charge of the Regional Perinatal Center in Kharkiv, Ukraine. The announcement was made a few hours ago. Over the next few days, therefore, by following Beckham’s account it will be possible to get important updates directly from Kharkiv.
An invitation to donate
David Beckham also took the opportunity to invite his followers to make one donation to UNICEF with the aim of supporting the activity of all people who, like Iryna, are currently at the forefront of saving lives.
