Kojima, has provided new details about Death Stranding 2 essentially stating that thanks to technological improvements the development team is able to do things that they could not do in the original game: “It is the second time that I work with Norman [Reedus] and the technology has really improved over the past three years,” said the visionary game director. “Things that were impossible before are now possible. So we put ourselves to the test. In this sense this is no ordinary sequel“.
Kojima went on to say that while he can’t comment on the game right now, Death Stranding 2 will try to find a balance between being nostalgic and new in an effort to appeal to both new players and those who have already tried the first title:
“I can’t say much yet. I think a lot of people liked Sam, and I hope those people play DS2 again. And to appeal to those who haven’t played the first one, I’ve made the game nostalgicbut also new.
