The Courage of May’s Beating: The “Server Slam” Will Allow Everyone to Test Servers Ahead of Diablo IV Launch
If you have gutted our preview of Diablo IV as much as we did with regard to the performance of the game itself, you will remember the abysmal difference between early access and open beta: given the problems that occurred during the latter, Blizzard has seen fit to take the demon by the horns with a Server Slam. Announced during the last live dedicated to the game, the event will allow all players to access for free to the game between 12 and 14 May. The goal is just what you’re thinking about right now: stress the servers beyond beliefin order to prevent any possible problem on the next day one.
“Come to the Server Slam, and welcome to the jam”: a weekend to put Diablo IV on fire
Of course, the changes described in the livestream dedicated to Diablo IV will also appear during the Slam Server. In other words, therefore, we can test the various buffs of the case to classes Barbaro e Druid. And if you want an extra incentive, in addition to taking advantage of what you have learned in the beta, it will also be possible to face the “world boss” Ashwafrom 13 maggio every three hours. The grinding to do may not be small, but luckily for you we have already compiled a guide to know what to repeat ad nauseam to limit this type of activity as much as possible. We leave you at official post.
#DiabloIV draws near.
We’ve heard your feedback, it’s time to visit Sanctuary once more before June.

If you can then give Ashava the beating he deserves with a level 20 character, you can take home the trophy Cry of Ashava (“Ashava’s cry,” we assume). Of course, facing the boss without having the necessary level will prevent you from accessing the reward. If we talked about “exploiting what we learned” a few lines ago, however, it is on a sore note: progress made during the beta will not be exploitable during the test, and the same is true (unlike Square-Enix’s classic demos) for the full game once it’s out. In this sense, the appointment will instead be for June 6th su PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS4 e PS5.
