DIRIGERA arrives in Italy: IKEA’s hub for smart products

The new IKEA app promises to be practical, intuitive and easy to use. Rebecca Töreman assured that the application has been optimized following user feedback, and that the same also applies to the new hub. Users can thus easily connect all their home devices, and manage them all from the device. These can be managed individually or in groups, creating different scenes with preset functions, with a high rate of customization of the methods of use.

Users can continue to use the TRÅDFRI gateway and current app. Smart products already purchased from IKEA can be used with both the gateway and the DIRIGERA hub. Furthermore, in the first half of 2023, the launch of the “away from home” access functionality is expected.
