The Disney world is about to get rich with a new princess, coming from India and ready to debut in live action
A very interesting new project from Disney is on its way. As reported by Deadline, the Mickey Mouse house has entrusted director Gurinder Chadha with the task of a live action project, in a musical version centered on an unpublished princess and set in India. There is little other information at the moment, also considering that it is a project to be confirmed officially and in its infancy. However, the sentiment that has animated Disney production in recent years emerges strongly, namely the inclusion and diversification of its proposal. After the arrival of characters such as Vaiana, Tiana and Raya, a new princess will make her debut, bringing with her all the charm of the Indian world.
As mentioned, there are very few details currently known about the project. The big news is represented, however, by the formula in live action, an unprecedented way to present a princess, but testimony of how Disney wants to focus strongly on this format. The film will be a musical and will likely be based, as reported by Screenrant, on a princess from India’s long and rich history. The details are all to be discovered, but even if in the embryonic stage the project already seems to be very intriguing.
