Disney Plus has announced everything we will find again in the catalog. So let’s take a look at the upcoming releases in May
A new month is almost upon us, its arrival will bring many new features to Disney Plus. The platform, which includes the best of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic e Star has already announced new films, series and documentaries. Let’s see in detail what it is.
How I met your father
After the incredible success of the sitcom How I Met Your Mother, one spin off it was almost inevitable. Here then arrive How I met your fatherwith a first season and ten episodes.
The new series tells the story of Sophie and how she met the father of her children. We will be catapulted into 2021, to learn about the story of the girl and her group of friendsstruggling with the Research of their identity e of love in the days of dating apps.

Sneakerentola, an Original Disney Plus movie
Sneakerentola tells about Thea very talented boy, who dreams of becoming a sneaker designer. He works as a warehouse keeper in his mother’s once-owned shoe shop, hiding his artistic talent. The boy, constantly harassed by his father and two half-brothersone day meets Kira Kingdaughter of Darius King, famous basketball player and sneaker tycoon. Thanks to her help best friend and his Fairy GodfatherEl will have to try to pursue his dreams.

The series tells of Betha girl whose life seems perfect. Everyone admires her, she has a good job and a solid relationship with an esteemed boyfriend. She will be though an accident to make her question everything. The event will force her to look back into her past, transforming her life forever. It will be an exciting journey that, starting from adolescence, it will transform Beth into a more authentic and aware girl of what she wants to become; an adventure made of flashbackwhich will bring suffering but also humor and acceptance.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. narra di come the world is managing awareness of the existence of aliens and superheroes. Meanwhile, the‘Agent Phil Coulsonback in action, is keeping an eye on a suspicious group, called Rising Tide. To control the enemy, he decides to train a small group of selected agents between members of the SHIELD organization., with one big goal: protect the ordinary from the extraordinary.

Wu-Tang: an American Saga
It’s about a drama series, set in the early 90s, in New York. The events narrated follow Bobby Diggs alias The RZAwith the intention of bringing together a dozen young boys colored with a difficult life, torn between music and crimebut destined to emerge, in a story of redemption and success.

Chip and Dale Special Agents, an original Disney Plus movie
The world-famous squirrels are about to return in this new adventure in Mixed technique. The film, set in the present day, shows how the lives of the two are very different from those of the past. Cip lives an ordinary life, working as an insurer, Dale instead underwent CGI surgery and works in the circuit of nostalgic conventions, dragging himself among the memories of a glorious life. The two aren’t even friends anymore, but when a former cast member goes missing mysteriously, they will have to mend the lost relationship, take on the role of Special Agents and save their friend’s life.

Airport Security (stagione 8)
National Geographic will make available to the Disney Plus platform‘eighth season of the docu-reality Airport Security. We will have the opportunity to find out what happens in the most important airports, alongside the agents who, every day, working at customs, fight the drug trafficking, immigration clandestine and the trafficking in illegal objects and living beings.

Obi-Wan Kenobi, a Disney Plus original series
Among the new releases, we will also find the first season of Obi-Wan Kenobi. There is not much information about it, except that the series will talk about the Obi-Wan’s past, in particular of his exile. The prequel will be set eight years after the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005) and eleven years before Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope (1977).
The first episodes will be available on 27 maggio.
