Learn the smart way for your home with Dyson
No one questions the need and pleasure of have a clean house, but there are few who can consider it funny. Fortunately, technology has made great strides in recent years to facilitate these operations. New tools that make it much easier to keep floors clear with as little effort as possible. And the Dreame H12 Pro manages to perform this function in a truly optimal way: let’s see why in this review.
Dreame H12 Pro review: many accessories designed to the fullest
Inside the package we find in addition to the liquid vacuum cleaner / vacuum cleaner first of all a roller and a spare filter. A not indifferent convenience that pleases and that will improve the maintenance of our device. Along with these is a cleaning solution (which will last for many washes), a cleaning brush and of course the charging base. The latter is studied with a design that allows you to comfortably stow all the various accessories and spare parts, in an orderly manner. More pluses.
Full charging is fast enough. It is not of course instantaneous, but it is not necessary. A few hours are enough to bring the Dreame H12 Pro back to 100%, optimal times even for those who clean floors very frequently. Even because a full charge is hardly needed at all.
We tried to get him into troublewith a full cleaning and also testing the Ultra mode (which we’ll talk more about below), and yet we only scratched his six 4,000mAh batteries. We could have easily repeated the process without needing another recharge and still have some leftover energy. In short, even if you have a rather large house it is definitely ideal.
The end result was however very satisfying: we found ourselves with clean floors and no traces of dirt, vacuumed very well by the device. The presence of a small motor that pushes the Dreame H12 Pro forward made this operation moreover less tiring than with other toolsnot counting of course the cordless convenience.
Three ways to always clean in the correct way
Let’s continue in the review of the Dreame H12 Pro by going to see the different cleaning modes that offers. The simplest is that which it only sucks up the liquids. This is a decidedly useful function when we spill water or something else on the floor, avoiding us having to take the rag for an always uncomfortable and ineffective operation.
Moving on to actual cleaning, the advice is to leave it mainly in automatic mode. A sensor will detect the level of dirt on the floor and adjust the suction power accordingly. This allows for contain consumptionthe possible wear of the floor, but above all the noise. If it’s routine cleaning, the Dreame H12 Pro is really quiet.
If necessary, however, you can switch to the ultra-mode. After a preparation that takes a few seconds, this device will start at maximum power, cleaning and aspire deeper. As mentioned it is not always necessary: we have activated it only to test it, but on “normal” dirt the automatic mode is sufficient. However, there is no doubt that it can be useful, perhaps in the event of small accidents that need to be remedied quickly.
Once everything is completed, then, we can place it on the recharging base and start the self-cleaning operations. You will need to empty and wash the dirty water tank (particularly roomyas well as the consideration for the clean one, sufficient even for large spaces).
Then the Dreame H12 Pro it will wash and dry in complete autonomy. This is not a particularly fast process, it must be admitted. However – as we said for recharging – it doesn’t need to be any faster than thatnot to mention that for this very reason it is decidedly silent and is perhaps a more useful feature.
We close the review of the Dreame H12 Pro with some cons
Something that didn’t convince us of this Dreame H12 Pro actually exists. A minor aspect concerns the charging base: we would have preferred it to be there a compartment also for the cleaning solution (considering that the manual naturally suggests to use only the official one). It would have been a decidedly convenient, if not life-changing, addition.
The second problem we encountered is instead common for these tools and probably can’t expect more at the moment. We appreciated that the front actually cleans throughout the area it covers (making it effective at the edges as well), but its full-bodied size makes it really difficult to access some areas of the houseperhaps among the furniture.
In addition theangle of inclination however, it is limited, so it is not easy to reach certain points, such as under the beds for example. This means that for these spaces we will be forced to intervene manually, but at the moment it seems that it is really difficult to find an alternative.
Beyond this though, our review of the Dreame H12 Pro is undoubtedly positive. Its battery and the capacity of the water tanks are a workhorse, which makes it perfect for those who have rather large spaces to clean, but it is also clearly useful for those who simply fear running dry at the wrong time. And leave the house in an exceptional statewhich is the most important factor.
