The release of Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance will occur simultaneously with its direct entry into the Xbox Game Pass title roster
The ferment of Xbox for the twentieth anniversary is only the spearhead for the Microsoft console, given the recent announcement of the direct inclusion of Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance among the titles on Game Pass. The announcement takes place a bit quietly, but there is not much more to say: while the title (unrelated to the other Dark Alliance) is still available on multiple platforms, subscribers to Microsoft’s subscription service will already be able to start play it for free on day one. The source, as you can see below, is the game’s official Twitter account, whose post has aroused the most disparate reactions.
Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance crosses the Xbox Game Pass gaming pass
Although provided on every console, therefore, Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance will prove particularly accessible to Xbox Game Pass subscribers. The tweet below was met with many reactions, mostly positive. Contrary to users who (quoting an answer) “can’t give enough hearts to the post”, however, still others wonder if their preorder of this last chapter still has reason to exist. In addition, some users seem more interested in the presence of co-op locally, which for the moment does not seem to be a priority for the development team.

Nonetheless, an interesting observation on the article dedicated to this surprising inclusion also appeared among the responses. There will be no local co-op, but on the other hand the cross-play between PC and console users. However, the latter will be able to join their friends on computers as long as they play on Microsoft platforms. Finally, remember that, in addition to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X ed S, the game will also be available on PS4 e PS5. At its release, it separates us just over a month: the day one in question is in fact scheduled for June 22, 2021.
