Eagle Pictures: the new home videos of next month, October 2021, include action, thrillers, Italian films and great classics in high definition
In October 2021, many news are about to be released on the home video for Eagle Pictures and we are here to remind you of the dates and names of the upcoming releases. We can’t wait to see these magnificent films and therefore know your opinion on these highly anticipated news.
Monster Hunter
It starts on 6 October with Monster Hunter from Paul W.S. Anderson, available through Eagle Pictures in DVD, Blu-ray and 4K UHD formats. The director of Mortal Kombat e Resident Evil returns to the big screen with an unmissable action inspired by one of the chapters of the video game series Capcom, Monster Hunter: World, with protagonists Milla Jovovich, Tony Jaa e Ron Perlman: an adrenaline-pumping film and worthy heir to the cult Resident Evil. The plot is as follows: Beyond our world, there is another: a world of dangerous and powerful monsters who wield their dominion with deadly ferocity. When an unexpected sandstorm transports Captain Artemis (Milla Jovovich) and his unit (TI Harris, Meagan Good, Diego Boneta) to this new world, the soldiers discover that this hostile and unknown environment is home to terrifying monsters immune to their might of fire. In his desperate battle for survival, the unit encounters the mysterious Hunter (Tony Jaa), whose abilities allow him to stay one step ahead of the mighty creatures. As Artemis and Hunter slowly gain confidence in each other, she discovers that he is part of a team headed by Admiral (Ron Perlman). Faced with danger so great that it threatens to destroy their world, the brave warriors combine their unique skills to team up in the ultimate final showdown.
Spiral-The Legacy of Saw
Spiral-The legacy of Saw di is released on October 14th Darren Lynn Bousman, published by Eagle Pictures in DVD and Blu-ray format. The shocking new chapter of the famous Riddler saga, with a stellar cast composed of Chris Rock, Samuel L. Jackson e Max Minghella, here struggling with a diabolical and twisted thriller, with a shocking and totally unreleased climax: a film that preserves all the characteristics of the original saga, between unimaginable tortures and terrifying traps, while exploring frightening psychological elements. Here, too, a sadistic mind enacts a twisted form of justice: working in the shadow of an esteemed police veteran (Samuel L. Jackson), cheeky detective Ezekiel “Zeke” Banks (Chris Rock) and his fledgling partner. (Max Minghella) are involved in a shocking investigation into murders reminiscent of the city’s disturbing past. Trapped in an ever-deepening mystery, Zeke finds himself at the center of the morbid killer game.
Pig
The highly anticipated Pig di Michael Sarnoski, published on DVD and Blu-ray. The film, which received a 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, sees director Michael Sarnoski, also author of the screenplay, on its debut behind the camera. In a very successful mix between Tarantino and Kogonada, the film returns a leading role to the star Nicolas cage, here in a sublime actor’s rehearsal in the role of a tormented hermit ready to do anything to get back what was stolen from him. Rob (Nicolas Cage) is a former great chef who retired to the wilds of Oregon. He is a lonely man, a truffle hunter accompanied only by his beloved pig. When unscrupulous people kidnap his trusty pet, Rob will have to retrace his steps to Portland, face his past and settle the odds.
Return to crime
From October 28th, appointment with the Italian film Return to crime from Massimiliano Bruno, available on DVD and Blu-ray. Highly anticipated sequel to Once upon a time there was crime, box office blockbuster in 2019, the film features a proven and close-knit cast made up of the most beloved faces of Italian cinema: Alessandro Gassmann, Marco Giallini, Edoardo Leo, Angelo Orlando and the extraordinary participation of Loretta Goggi. Having escaped the Banda della Magliana, Sebastiano (Alessandro Gassmann), Moreno (Marco Giallini), Giuseppe (Gian Marco Tognazzi) and Gianfranco (Massimiliano Bruno) find themselves in Montecarlo on the trail of Sabrina, the ex of the boss Renatino (Edoardo Leo) who he stole the heart of one, Sebastiano, and everyone’s money. The four friends will thus find themselves dealing with an unscrupulous art dealer, completely unaware that their past, which bears the name of Renatino, is about to reappear in their lives and is more relentless than ever.
The great classics
Also not to be missed are the great classics by Eagle Pictures published in 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray versions. Among the news of the month, the science fiction blockbuster “DUNE”From the visionary David Lynch, based on the famous novel by Herbert, available from 6 October in an unmissable 4K edition with a collector’s card. Coming from October 20 The seventh seal, one of the masterpieces of Ingmar Bergman published thanks to Eagle Pictures for the first time on Blu-ray in an unmissable COMBO edition (with double DVD and Blu-ray disc).
Green Necklace
Furthermore, in October, the brand new EVER GREEN BLU-RAY releases, plastic free editions containing highly successful films in Blu-ray format, arrive for the GREEN series by Eagle Pictures. From 6 October, a great cult such as The Great Cold of will be available in these new ecological and recyclable packaging Lawrence Kasdan, released for the first time on Blu-Ray in Italy and focused on the bittersweet reunion of a group of former college friends at a friend’s funeral. Two horror masterpieces by the Master of the thrill are also on the way Dario Argento: Darkness, released in DVD format and for the first time on Blu-ray, and Phenomena, available on DVD and for the first time in Blu-ray format.
