This summer the global tech brand OnePlus he threw OnePlus Nord 2 5G, the latest addition to the company’s most accessible range of smartphones. Now the company shows the new OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man edition, born from the special collaboration with Bandai Namco. The smartphone will be available for purchase starting tomorrow.

Pete Lau, the Founder of OnePlus, said that this new edition reaffirms the commitment of the company to provide refreshing and meaningful experiences to their ever-growing community. It also adds that the new smartphone is equipped with all the amazing news that the community loved about the original Nord 2 but offers them in a fully customized package to celebrate the icon of Pac-Man video games.
Yutaka Fuse, Bandai Namco’s Head of PAC-MAN & Global Business Section, added that the team is delighted to see this wonderful collaboration with OnePlus. On top of that it revealed that the design and features that represent Pac-Man were perfectly integrated into the smartphone of the company.
The company’s new smartphone reimagines the design of the OnePlus Nord 2 with a double film back cover in which i design of both brands. The outermost film, simple and elegant, is enriched with some typical PAC-MAN elements, such as the iconic ones PAC-DOTS of the game and the same character.
For the innermost layer, the device boasts a phosphorescent design that glows in the dark, thus revealing a bright labyrinth inspired by the game’s iconic map. The OnePlus Nord 2 × PAC-MAN Edition’s notification slider has the same dark blue color as the TURN-TO-BLUE, the famous vulnerable ghosts that appear in the game when the player eats a POWER PELLET.

In this new version, OxygenOS is renewed in retro key. The classic software icons have indeed been completely redesigned with a fun pixelated aesthetic inspired by the lo-fi title. The smartphone also offers static wallpapers e dynamic customized, depicting different stages of PAC-MAN’s journey through the OnePlus universe.
To pay homage to PAC-MAN’s legendary gameplay, users will have to complete challenges on the device itself to unlock more secret wallpapers.
The device also boasts other customized content. Among them we find un custom camera filter, custom animations and also the PAC-MAN 256 game. To top it off, the device is packed with unlockable content such as ringtones, photo stickers and much more. Users can unlock this and more by completing the challenges on their smartphone.
The OnePlus Nord 2 × PAC-MAN Edition owns all the best features of the normal OnePlus Nord 2. Among them we find the powerful camera hardware, the same interminable 4,500mAh battery with Warp Charge 65 and the same fast and smooth performance.
