Konami promptly released several statements on Twitter. We report them in full below:
After the release of eFootball 2022 we have received a lot of feedback and requests regarding game balance which includes passing speed and defensive operations. We would also like to acknowledge that there have been reports of problems users have experienced with cut-scenes, facial expressions, player movements, and ball behavior. We are very sorry for the problems and want to assure everyone that we will take all reports seriously and will work to improve the current situation. This game will be continuously updated, the quality will be improved, and the content will be added consistently. From next week onwards, we will be preparing for an October update, receiving further feedback via questionnaires to our users. We will do our best to satisfy as many users as possible and look forward to continuing to support eFootball 2022.
Konami had already confirmed via the game’s official Twitter account that eFootball would be “basically one demo”At launch. Although it has been stated to include only nine teams on the day of its release, Konami announced a new Worldwide Clubs event that will run untilNovember 8, during which players can choose from a wider range of teams to try to earn GP, one of the currencies in the game.
